Austrey Gardening Society
A thriving society with around 50 members, meeting
every second Friday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Village Hall.
The Society is responsible for arranging the judging
in the Best-Kept Garden Competition. They also
organise the Open Show in September and the Annual Village Quiz in November.
Coach trips are arranged each year and they also make
trips by car to local places of gardening interest. AGM is held in
October.
This year’s
Summer trip is to Hidcote
Manor on Saturday August 12th – members and non-members are welcome
to come along and a coach will be provided. Further details
